Paulina Leyva is an Asylum Paralegal at Immigration Equality, bringing experience from various non-governmental and government organizations, as well as dedication for matters of social justice and human rights, to her role.
Previously, Paulina has worked at the UN as a Youth Representative, at the Mexican Consulate as a Community Development intern, at MADRE as a Women’s Human Rights Program intern, and at the New York City Council as a Legislative intern.
Paulina is originally from Mexico. She holds a double B.A. in International Relations and Political Science from The City College of New York, and speaks English, Spanish, and French.
