In 2012, her final capstone, Social Media Ethics and the LGBT Community, was published by Harvard’s LGBTQ Policy Journal; she has spoken on panels and managed a blog for years on the topic.
Outside of her volunteer work, Leone serves as a mentor for those who are looking to advance in their careers, are interested in business development, or in translating their nonprofit skills to the corporate sector. When Leone isn’t working or volunteering, you can find her cycling through Washington state’s wine and farm country, camping in the mountains with her wife and two kids, throwing punches at the boxing gym, or strumming a few songs on her acoustic.
