Fadi Hanna is a Managing Director in Compliance at JPMorgan Chase & Co., based in New York City, who advises on bank and securities regulatory matters across JPMorgan’s businesses globally. Fadi has served in multiple leadership roles at JPMorgan, including as the Firm’s head of Conflicts of Interest and Fiduciary Compliance, as the Chief Compliance Officer of the Firm’s Swap Dealers, and Head of Firmwide Volcker Compliance, in addition to his work in privacy, anticorruption, and political contributions compliance in JPMorgan’s Investment Bank.
Prior to joining JPMorgan, Fadi was a litigator Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP, involved in complex commercial litigation in both state and federal courts. Fadi began his career at Accenture, where he worked on a team focused on technology for financial services clients. Fadi holds a law degree from Yale Law School, and a B.S from Duke University. Fadi served as a Legal Intern for Immigration Equality in 2003, and over the years has continued to spread the message about the great work Immigration Equality does. Fadi was born in Beirut, Lebanon, to a family that is half Lebanese and half Egyptian, and has a personal appreciation for the challenges faced by LGBTQ immigrants.
