This year marks the 34th running of the Front Runners New York LGBT Pride Run. More than 5,000 runners will run this festive and super-fun five-miler through Central Park on Saturday, June 27, put on by New York Road Runners and Front Runners New York (FRNY), a competitive and social club for LGBT runners and their allies. This year, a portion of the proceeds will benefit Immigration Equality!
Whether you’ve got running experience or you’re a novice looking for a healthy run and some good camaraderie, the Pride Run always delivers the goods. FRNY welcomes runners of all levels and has a special Beginner’s Clinic for new runners. As part of race registration, participants will receive a tech singlet and of course, support along the course. Additionally, a donation can be made straight to Immigration Equality during registration! After the race, enjoy an ice-cold popsicle — just the treat for a warm summer day!
Register today and join Immigration Equality’s team on the NYRR Race Page and follow the Pride Run on Facebook! Registrations are currently at 60% capacity, and are sure to sell out within a few more weeks.
Notify us of your registration by e-mailing PrideRun@immigrationequality.org and we will inform the Immigration Equality team of the meet-up location prior to the race.
