Immigration Equality
Bilingual Part-time Hotline Attorney
New York, NY

Immigration Equality is the country’s largest legal services and advocacy organization for LGBTQ and HIV-positive immigrants. Through direct representation, impact litigation, policy advocacy, community engagement, and thought leadership, we support intersectional communities striving for safety, fair treatment, and freedom. One of the services we provide, is our international help hotline. Though inquiries to the hotline come through many different means of communication, we respond to almost all of the inquiries through email. Where necessary, we respond through regular mail or by phone.

After the inauguration of President Donald Trump, and subsequent changes in immigration law and policy, Immigration Equality has received a great number of requests for assistance and advice from the LGBTQ and HIV-positive community.
