Preparing for Your Visit
Your lobby visit is your chance to proclaim that you, your relationship and your family must be valued and treated equally. Here are some action steps to get our message out and prepare for your visit.

Schedule Appointments with Your Representatives * Provide Training * Create a Schedule * Plan a Few Social Activities
Meetings
Immigration Equality will contact your representatives’ office to schedule meetings for you. Please make sure we have your legal name, your current address and when you are arriving and departing. We cannot make appointments without this information.
Training
Immigration Equality will provide the neccessary lobby training when we gather in Washington, DC.

Monday, May 5th
-arrive in D.C., check in to hotels, etc.

Tuesday, May 6th
-8 am - 9 am, Lobby 101 Training
-10 am - 5pm, Congressional Meetings*
-6pm - 8pm, Immigration Equality Happy Hour at Nellie's Bar
-get a good night's sleep
Wednesday, May 7th
-8:30 am - 5pm, Congressional Meetings*
-8pm, Immigration Equality hosted dinner at Buca di Beppo
-get a good night's sleep
Thursday, May 8th
-10 am - 5pm, Congressional Meetings*
-Lobby Week wrap-up
