Originally from St. Petersburg, Russia, Natalie is our first legal professional that is fluent in the Russian language. She holds a BS in Politics, Philosophy and Law with a concentration in Women’s Studies from Binghamton University. She has a decade of experience in political and community organizing in New York City. She previously worked with the National Lawyers Guild and The Law Office of Gideon Oliver. While at Binghamton University, she was a community organizer and worked with the Neighborhood Assemblies Project as an AmeriCorp VISTA. In addition, she attended the City University of New York School of Law for two semesters.

Natalie has quickly fallen in love with Immigration Equality’s asylum program. Witnessing a client receive asylum for the first time brought tears to her eyes. She’s always wanted to work directly with Russian immigrants and can now share in the joy that Immigration Equality brings to its clients.
